Ten Tools in Ten Minutes

Quite a few of our past posts have been about hardware. Today, a few software tips.

Scott Hanselman gave a GrokTalk at TechEd called Ten Tools in Ten Minutes. If you're a software developer, definitely give his list a look.

Another favorite blog of ours is Larkware. Each weekday, Mike Gunderloy posts The Daily Grind, where he pulls together "whatever strikes me as interesting to software developers and others of similar bent." We've been getting The Daily Grind for a few months, and we're happy to attest we're interested.

And finally, if you're wondering what's new in Windows Mobile 5.0, check out this article on MSDN. It's appropriately called What's New for Developers in Windows Mobile 5.0.

The handheld for Jack Bauer

We're getting a lot of interest in the DURATEQ after our announcement in Chicago. We're a little surprised (and pleased!) with the amount of international interest. The press release has been translated and posted on dozens of international sites.

Our favorite is the French PDAddict site that said the DURATEQ was "a handheld for Indiana Jones or Jack Bauer" (from the TV show 24). Maybe for the next season of 24 we'll take the same approach as Cisco and get the DURATEQ featured in the show.

They also said it had "an iPAQ inside and a Hummer outside." Maybe that can be our next marketing slogan...

We've had a lot of interest in the US as well. Thanks to all the news sites and blogs for helping us get the word out, and a special thanks to Dave at Dave's iPAQ. We appreciate it.
